In Zona Tortona there is a place where the DJ’s are rocking right on the streets - everyone’s wearing headphones, so they can quietly raving to the beats in public at night.

Our Design-Apartment got this picture - I took it at everyday’s message when I woke up.

Most of the time we ate delicious food… sometimes too much

it was raining all the time so they had to built a rain cover for the R18 - what a mess.

guess what the story is…:D

that’s how we started for Audi a year ago -> with small Canon DSLR’s. Now we shoot on RED Epic and we have to change our shooting behaviours. It still has to be Run & Gun… but how can we do it with bigger and heavy load?

Merish is happy with the RED Epic… and again did an amazing job on this project.

Manchmal passieren bei bestimmten Projekten kleine Magic Moments. So war es mit Zoran Drvenkar, der uns unheimlich sympathisch und einladend mit feinstem Tee empfing. Mit Zoran hatte ich sofort einen Draht aufgebaut, zwei Geschichten- und Film-Nerds, die sich endlos austauschen konnten.

Zoran bot mir sogar an, das Cover zu seinem neuen Buch zu gestalten. Leider war ich bereits mit dem Audi-Pavillon-Film beschäftigt. Ihm gefiel sein Clip so gut, dass er mir einige seiner Bücher mit persönlicher Widmung schenkte, sowie eine CD mit einer Auswahl seiner Lieblingsmusik. Es ist für mich mit das größte Lob, das ich bekommen kann.

Nun bin ich dran, ihm ein ähnliches Paket zu schicken, nur eben mit meinen Lieblingsfilmen.

Wladimir Kaminer, bekannt für seinen Bestseller Russendisko gibt ein kurzes Interview zu seinem neuen Buch: “Onkel Wanja kommt - eine Reise durch die Nacht.”

In der Kürze der Zeit war es leider ein Run&Gun-Shooting am Berliner Hauptbahnhof, doch war es eine tolle Erfahrung Herrn Kaminer persönlich getroffen zu haben.

Challenging project, this film had to be shot entirely within 2 days, so we shot 30 hours day and night, just to be finished in time for the official opening. The challenge was to work around the construction areas, because every department of the pavillon worked until the last second right before the opening. Thnx to everybody who made this possible.
